Kingsford Smith Memorial Lookout

Overlooking Seven Mile Beach - the location selected by Charles Kingsford Smith for his historic flight to New Zealand January 11, 1933 is well worth a visit.

A recent commemoration of the lookout celebrated the 75th anniversary of this momentous event and a plaque laid by Gerroa's community is on display near the outline of his aircraft the "Southern Cross".
